This Must Be...POP

Jacket, Silk Cami and Leopard Trousers - Forever 21 || Boots - Jeffrey Campbell || Necklace and Bracelets - Primark
So I'm almost (almost I say) head to toe in Forever 21. I got these trousers ages ago and completely forgot about them until my boyfriend needed to dress up for some safari themed Rugby 7's day and started raiding my wardrobe. He's over 6ft. Not like anything would have fit him! He opted for a spider hat instead. Innovative, I must say. I took these pics last week when I went round to a friend's for dinner and was planning on taking them outside but it rained. Typical. Hence, no make up as I was planning on hiding behind my sunnies. Urgh. I never really wear a lot of make up but seriously, some eye liner and mascara might have helped my case here, ha! I literally look about 16 years old. Not necessarily a bad thing seeing as that's 10 years younger than my actual age! I only discovered Forever 21 towards the end of last year (so behind with the times) but they have so many nice things! Especially now with the 'summer' season upon us. It's so reasonably priced too, this cami I think was £7.99 or something. And the blazer was twenty quid. Now do you see why my haul was so big?! I always pick up so much and expect it to come to around £50, then I get to the till and I've clearly spent too much and by that time it's too late. I want it all! Anyway, I'll stop babbling, I will try and get better at uploading upfit posts! You'll be glad to know that I've been spending again too. Ooops. If you haven't already, would love if you could vote for my blog under 'best new fashion blog' in the Cosmo blog awards, you can do so here if you like it, all you need to do is complete a little form :) I would be ever so grateful! Much love xxx

Bitter + Twisted

Tie Dye Top - c/o Bitter + Twisted || Crochet Shorts - Boo Hoo || Bracelets - Primark || Pastel Socks - Primark || Sandals - Primark || Necklace - Primark || Sunglasses - Ray Ban
The sun was out today! Yay! For a total of about 10 minutes, but hey. I decided to go and collect Kelly (my beloved bike, currently stashed away at my boyfriend's parents house, sob) and go for a cycle as I haven't really been out on her at all this year and felt bad. You have probably seen me posting pics of this top on instagram that the lovely Rachel of Bitter + Twisted kindly gifted to me and I LOVE it soooo much. I love anything tie dyed but the colour of this I adore, and it was hand made too! You can check out their facebook page here and shop their range on eBay here. Bitter + Twisted are all about vintage, second hand and customised clothing and they've got some really cute pieces up for sale - perfect for the festival season and at incredibly affordable prices. I've got my eye on a few things but I think I've spent enough recently, don't you? LOL. I know I keep asking but voting closes next week for the Cosmo Blog Awards and I would love it if you could vote for me under Best New Fashion Blog (blogging under 18 months). If you like my blog you can vote here. Thank yooooou so much! Xxx

Okay. I did it. I shopped. If you saw my last haul here, you will know that when I shop. I shop. My last haul had some nice stuff in it but it was all pretty dull. I decided that with summer just around the corner (we hope) it was time for some colour. You may have seen me whining on twitter recently over the fact that my Forever 21 shopping basket was sitting at around the £170 mark. I just couldn't bring myself to checkout when I knew that I had to pay off my holiday. But, after much thought of the 'sod it' variety, I reassessed the situation, went back with a fresh eye and stocked up my basket again. LUCKILY, I didn't spend anywhere near what it was at before (in total with everything else... Maybe.) I kind of just thought, hey, I work hard, I deserve this! I've been after these Jeffrey C's for ages and managed to get hold of a pair on eBay for £35 in total. There's an Office shop on there selling discounted shoes that are either ex display or returns and all that was wrong with this pair, was a tiny mark on the back which came off anyway! Result.
The two piece blazer and shorts from Sabo Skirt I'm actually in love with. So lightweight and perfect for summer. They are an Australian brand but only took 4 days to arrive!!! Amazing service. So yeah. The majority of the stuff I bought online from Forever 21 I didn't like when it arrived or some stuff didn't fit, so I had to trek all the way into central London to take it back. Which ultimately led me to finding more things I wanted and also led me to Primark! Gaaaah. The one on Oxford Street is literally hell on earth. I also got some beaut pastel socks and a bum bag from Primark which I forgot about. Ooops. See, I can't even remember half the stuff I bought - probably a sign that I didn't even need it. I always say this is the last time I'll spend money on clothes for a while. But that never happens. Although, on the plus side, I had a MASSIVE clear out and put over 30 items on eBay so if you want to have a look my eBay member name is joannerandall2003 or just click this link - I hope that works! Anyway, I will be sure to get lots of outfit posts up soon, hopefully when the weather perks up a bit! Xxxx

Jumper - Primark || Trousers - Urban Outfitters || Creepers - Underground || Bum Bag - Primark || Sunglasses - Ray Ban
Just a quick one as I have a million things to upload onto eBay. I am not looking forward to it. But it's free listing so I NEED to get it done today. Urgh. In fact, this POW jumper was in my pile of stuff to sell but decided I quite liked it in the end after seeing how well it went with these trousers, which I picked up in Urban Outfitters sale ages ago for £10. But I still don't know. Sell or keep, what do you think?? I'll be sure to upload a little snippet of what I'm selling with my eBay name in case any of you guys are interested :) Also, I would LOVE it if you could nominate me for best new fashion blog (blogging under 18 months) in the Cosmopolitan blogger awards if you like my blog. If you would like to nominate me you can do so here. I would be eternally grateful! xxx

Gandys Flip Flops

Well this post is long overdue! Last month I went to meet the lovely creators of Gandys Flip FlopsGandys is a unique flip flop brand started by two passionate young brothers, Paul and Rob Forkan. The brothers were tragically orphaned by the Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004, which they narrowly survived themselves. Following this, they wanted to do something worthwhile which led them to start up Gandys where they give back 10% of the profits to Mango Tree House in India, which helps orphans education and healthcare. But they don't stop there. The brothers hope to open an orphanage in their parents’ memory and eventually spread their work even further than this initial orphanage planned in India.
So, why flip flops? Well we all know that when we go on holiday, flip flops are the main staple piece that we take with us, but these flip flops have a passport embossed stamp into the sole, adding purpose to the steps that you take and actually becoming a part of the 'orphans for orphans' journey.  Each flip flop is cleverly named associating the colour with a place (Tokyo Red, Phi Phi Pink are just some examples.) I was lucky to get a pair of 'Brighton Blue' as I go there quite a lot throughout the year so thought, it makes sense. I plan on getting the Miami pink ones for my holiday in August too. Woop. It's quite nice to have the colour/name of the flip flops of the place you are travelling to as well. There's more meaning behind it.
It was such a pleasure to meet such down to earth people at the Gandys offices. It is literally a fun house, with the coolest sofa I have ever seen. On the day I went down I met Paul and at 23, cannot believe how much he has achieved, it really is quite inspirational and I am so glad to be sharing these wonderful flip flops with you. They retail at £19.99 which is great value especially when you know that 10% of the profits will be helping those who really need it. Spread the Gandy love everyone. Mwah xxxx
