Blue Love

Blue Knitted Cardigan - Vintage
Sneakers - Converse
Rings - Topshop
Nail Varnish - Barry M
Denim Shorts - Vintage
Nude Top - Primark
After seeing Rihanna's "What's My Name?" video, I knew I just had to have the cardigan that she wore!! After spotting one very similar in shade in Urban Outfitters, for a pricey £80, I realised I didn't want it THAT much. So, off to eBay I went (I can always rely on you) where I found this oversized grandpa style cardigan in the most beautful shade of blue. I realised, it wasn't just the cardigan I loved, but the whole look. Denim shorts - check. Nude top...hmmm. The only thing I could find was my spanx, bought from Primark, hiked up far enough to cover my chest and hurrah, we have a nude top! I didn't like her black shoes to be honest and I didn't manage to get the grey socks. Damn. As for the red hair....I didn't go that far! More tomorrow lovely people.

  12. When I move to London we can go bicycling together! Ahah. I love this outfit, although I do prefer seeing it on you. I don't like the socks Rihanna's wearing with the outfit (which you're not). You have a really nice blog, I'm becoming a follower.

  13. I'm having a hard time believing Rihanna has a stylist since there's certain things a good stylist would never let her wear. At the end of the day it doesn't matter, the celeb decides to wear stuff or not. (She chose really terribly here when it came to either footwear or sockwear.)

I wish I were already in London. I'll only move (hopefully) next year or by the end of this year, since I live Lisbon.

  15. Oooh, that's so cool. I've never been to Scotland, but I'd love to! Do you have an accent (I know, stupidest question ever.) I'm portuguese and I'm in my last semester of college. I've been wanting to move to London for years. I can't wait! (Oxford Circus is cool, but I was there over last Christmas - I just about died due to tourists and whatnot)

  16. I know I was one too, but I was there doing a work experience thing so I guess I didn't really consider myself one ahah

  17. I don't think I've ever been there, to be honest. But all the area of Algarve is quite nice at that time of year if you're cool with (once again) having a swarm of tourists around you.

So sorry about the magazine. What happened to me in Oxford Circus was in COS. I wanted to buy a bracelet but it wasn't noon yet so they couldn't let me buy it because they couldn't use the till until noon. I was very disappointed and left, especially because I didn't see the point in opening a store when you can't sell yet.

Other than that, I loved being in London. It was the first time I went completely on my own.

Btw, I sound American but when I'm in London I start acquiring a British accent. I'm so weird! Ahah

  18. Oh, what happened was in the COS store, not in Topshop. So far haven't had any trouble with Topshop. I know Made In Chelsea. I'm obsessed with British TV Shows ahah I did try watching it and got stuck on the first episode. I wasn't really interested so I didn't watch any further. Is it any good beyond that?

  19. I was asking because sometimes the first few episodes aren't that good but then the show improves. I'm totally for watching something just because it makes you feel great, even if it's stupid. I'm not ashamed. I mean, it's a lot like saying you like Britney Spears' music isn't it? People who are really into music laugh at you, but I'm fine with that. If I think it's a nice music to hum to, why not listen to it?

I need to stop writing so much on these comments. Sorry ahah. Yeah, I read about TOWIE - I buy UK Glamour and Cosmo here so I'm always up to date ahah. Anyway, I read about it and I really do think I need to watch it!
